Watch Ramona and Beezus is definitely an upcoming American movie adaptation, according to the book Beezus and Ramona and featuring characters from the Ramona sequence of children’s novels by Beverly Cleary.
Young third grader Ramona (Joey King) has a vivid creativeness, boundless energy, and accident-prone antics that keeps everyone she meets on their toes. But her irrepressible feeling of enjoyable, adventure and mischief appear in helpful when she puts her mind to helping save her family’s household before it’s way too late.
Watch Ramona and Beezus Online is staying co-produced by 20th Century Fox’s Fox 2000 division and Walden Media. The film is directed by Elizabeth Allen, who previously directed Aquamarine. The screenplay is by Laurie Craig and Nick Pustay. It was shot in Vancouver B.C. in April and May perhaps of 2009.
At the age of nine many years old, Joey King was selected from a nationwide casting call to star as rambunctious Ramona Quimby, though Selena Gomez (of Disney Channel Original Sequence Wizards of Waverly Location) will perform her over-achieving older sister. John Corbett and Bridget Moynahan have been cast as the girls’ parents; Ginnifer Goodwin will portray their Aunt Bea whilst Josh Duhamel will play their Uncle Hobart. Hutch Dano, star of the Disney XD sequence Zeke and Luther, will perform Henry Huggins.

It seems a bit odd to have this post posted quickly using Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s lingerie commercial, but I guess that’s what happens once you include all corners of the movie globe and never just the fanboy aspect. As a matter of fact, I traditionally do not cover the much more childish affairs, and although I’m not enthusiastic about seeing Fox’s Ramona and Beezus, it brought me back to my childhood when I go through a great deal of Beverly Cleary’s guides, though I am not positive I study the Ramona ones… after all, I was a huge hard guy. I couldn’t be caught reading the girlie kinds, I stuck with Ralph the mouse, Henry and his faithful dog Ribsy.
Then once again, possibly I did understand the Ramona kinds. I do bear in mind her as a character, not as distinctly as I keep in mind Henry, Ribsy and Ralph, but I do recall Ramona Quimby, or a minimum of her existence. Am I alone on this or did more of you understand the Cleary stories once you had been younger? I believe I used to be like 5 or six when I had been examining them, but I can’t be confident.
The new movie stars Joey King as Ramona and Selena Gomez (“Hannah Montana”) as Beezus and I believe that is merely determined by the Ramona publications by Cleary and not exclusively the “Ramona and Beezus” entry. It is due in theaters on July 23 so I guess if you’ve a small girl in the family this is probably wherever you will be in the third weekend of July.
